On the development of Russian-UK space cooperation

On 5 August, 2011 the Director General of Intersputnik Vadim Belov had a meeting at the Russian Embassy in London with the Chief Executive of the UK Space Agency Dr David Williams. Representatives of several British and international telecommunications companies also took part in the meeting. The discussions were focused on possible joint projects in the area of design, launch, utilization and servicing of space communication satellites that could be used for high-quality broadcasting, communications and Internet access for those who live in Russia and other countries.
