New Intersputnik Signatory

January 18, 2018 - a ceremony took place at the Intersputnik headquarters for DalKom Somalia, a newly appointed Intersputnik Signatory from the Federal Republic of Somalia, to sign the Operating Agreement. Mr. M. Jama, DalKom Somalia CEO, affixed his signature in the presence of H.E. Mr. A.M. Warsame, Ambassador of Somalia to Russia, and a representative of the Africa Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

After the signing ceremony Intersputnik and Dalkom Somalia discussed potential areas of cooperation and identified promising lines of business. 

DalKom Somalia installs and operates submarine optical fiber cables. At the end of 2017, the company placed in service a satellite hub station in Somalia.
