Intersputnik's Operations Committee sponsors the first international webinar dedicated to offering satellite telecommunications services across Africa

On May 28, 2020 Intersputnik's Signatory Russian Satellite Telecommunications Company (RSCC) held in cooperation with the Operations Committee of Intersputnik a webinar on the development of satellite telecommunictions systems in various African regions. About fifty experts from around the world participated in this event to discuss prospects of satellite telecommunications services in remote and hard-to-reach areas on the African continent, development trends of geostationary and nongeostationary satellite systems, and competition with ground networks and 5G technologies, touching upon the effect of the current COVID-19 pandemic on the global and African markets.
